Foliage: dense evergreen with pointed dark green glossy leaves on red stems
Flower: White, scented flowers appear in June in long slender racemes, followed by small red fruits which turn black in winter.
Light: Prefers a moist well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. Watering Needs: Moderate water to regular water, drought tolerant
Treatment: For best results fertilize with a long term slow release fertilizer in early Spring, and prune to shape when required. Will tolerate dry periods and is frost hardy when established. For hedging Trim in June/July
