Carpobrotus rossii

Description: Carpobrotus rossii is common on coastal dunes. It is a prostrate plant which spreads to 2 metres or more with thick, succulent leaves up to 100 mm long.

Height x Width: 0.1m x 2-3m

Foliage: Green succulent three-sided leaves up to 100mm in length.

Flower: The flowers are superficially daisy-like and about 45 mm in diameter. They usually have mauve to purple petals and a white centre.

Growth rate: Medium

Habitat: Well drained soil and plenty of sun. It is very suited to exposed and coastal conditions

Watering Needs: drought tolerant
