Height: a rapid growing medium-sized shrub reaching about 2.5 m tall and almost equal breadth

Foliage: The leaves are hairy, deeply three to five lobed and dull green in colour and can look attractive as long as the shrub is kept compact as previously stated

Flower: The flowers are large (up to 120mm in diameter) and have five, slightly overlapping petals. They are usually mauve to purple in colour but white and yellow flowered forms are known

Growth rate: Fast growing

Watering Needs: drought tolerant
